You should be working for the campus newspaper

Below is an appeal from Mr. Klein for students to work at the Campus Carrier. If you're thinking of getting a job in media/journalism/PR, experience at the newspaper will be hugely beneficial.

I got my start at The East Carolinian at ECU in Greenville, NC. Started as a staff writer, then news editor, then managing editor. Had a great time. Went on to work at major and minor news outlets, including the Boston Herald.

Take care,
Dr. Matt

Or better yet they should just come to our weekly meeting to see us and check it out. We meet every Monday in LAU 113 at 4:45 p.m. We would be happy to talk with them there before or after the meeting in more detail.
