You should be working for the campus newspaper
Below is an appeal from Mr. Klein for students to work at the Campus Carrier. If you're thinking of getting a job in media/journalism/PR, experience at the newspaper will be hugely beneficial.
I got my start at The East Carolinian at ECU in Greenville, NC. Started as a staff writer, then news editor, then managing editor. Had a great time. Went on to work at major and minor news outlets, including the Boston Herald.
Take care,
Dr. Matt

We have three positions open right now. The Carrier editing staff will train and help anyone chosen. All are paid via the student work program.

Just have the students contact me or Megan Reed for more information about these. Email or phone is fine.
Or better yet they should just come to our weekly meeting to see us and check it out. We meet every Monday in LAU 113 at 4:45 p.m. We would be happy to talk with them there before or after the meeting in more detail.

Fall 2014 students, feel free to unsubscribe
Just a heads up -- I'm about to fire up this blog again. So, you may want to unsubscribe from this feed. (Should be an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.) Unless you just want to keep up with the latest events and cool journalism!

Have a great semester!
